Very Encouraged

It is amazing how when God uses you to bless someone, you never really know how much you have blessed that person until they tell of it.  Here is one such case from Bishop Dr. Delford Davis, telling of how Prayer 2000 and Rev. Naila Ricketts have been a blessing to him and his ministry:

Rev.  You are doing a great work in and on behalf of the kingdom of God, keep it up.

You continue to keep us informed and up-to-date with urgent prayer needs, not only nationally but also internationally.

You may never know the positive impact it is having on our prayer life.  It causes us to pray over and above what would normally be our prayer time.

God speed for Dr. D. Thomas we have placed him, the surgeons and the entire process in God’s hands.  So let us continue to SING.

Delford Davis.

Let us keep telling of the goodness of God, and also let His servants know how much they are being a blessing to us.

Then and Now

Today I share with you a praise report from Evangelist Dorothy J. White, Founder and President of God’s Glory Unlimited International Ministries.

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

When I reflect on what I see happening in your beloved country, I marvel at our God; and I rejoice with you to see the fruit of your untiring labor of love. I celebrate you Man of God and the many Christian leaders who joined with you in paying the price necessary to usher in the kind of change that is evident on the Island.

About eleven years ago I was called by God to bring teams of missionaries to Jamaica to minister the gospel and to demonstrate the love of God through compassion outreach, including medical clinics, feeding and clothing programs, etc. At that time, things were such that I would have fainted unless I believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Back then, Jamaica was in the top 3 most violent countries in the world for several years running; there was little or no access to health care for many of the citizens. Too many children were unable to attend school for the lack of money. The J dollar was very weak; unemployment in double digits. There was rampant corruption in high places, and on and on. In short, there were lots of reasons for the hopelessness, despair, anger and hostility we witnessed among the people we were privileged to serve.

I am in awe as I witness the difference between then and now. I read that crime is down about 35%. Our medical services are no longer needed in many of the communities that we used to serve because there is much greater, affordable access to health care. Many more of the children are now in school on a regular basis because of changes in the system and on and on.

That it took an army of caring, involved people to make this happen there is no doubt. But such a pervasive, profound transformation can only be wrought by the power of Almighty God unleashed in response to the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous. Well done servant of God. I commend your willingness to make the sacrifices that such a move of God requires.

I know there is still a ways to go, but I clearly see the thirty fold and in some cases, the sixty fold; surely the hundredfold return is on the way.

To God Be the Glory for the things He Has Done! And the best is yet to come!

The Lord’s Servant,
